Please read these terms and conditions carefully before placing an order with us. By purchasing from benfori.co.uk you agree to be bound by these terms.

1. About Us

Benfori is a UK ecommerce store selling world language books. You can contact us by email at [email protected] . We are not VAT registered.

2. These Terms

These terms and conditions apply to all purchases made through benfori.co.uk. They are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.

We reserve the right to update these terms at any time. The version in force at the time of your order will apply to that order.

3. Your Order

When you place an order, you are making an offer to purchase the goods described. We will send you an order confirmation by email, which does not constitute acceptance of your order. A contract between us is formed only when we dispatch your order and send a dispatch confirmation.

We reserve the right to refuse or cancel any order, including where: a product is listed at an incorrect price due to an error, we are unable to obtain stock from our supplier or we suspect fraudulent activity.

4. Pricing and Payment

All prices are shown in pounds sterling (GBP) and are inclusive of any applicable taxes. Delivery charges are shown at checkout before you complete your purchase. Payment is taken at the time of ordering. We accept payment by the methods shown at checkout.

5. Delivery

We deliver to addresses within the United Kingdom only. We do not currently offer international delivery.
Orders placed before 1pm Monday to Friday are dispatched the same day. Orders placed after 1pm, or at weekends and on bank holidays, are dispatched the next working day. Estimated delivery times are provided at the delivery page.

If your order has not arrived within the estimated timeframe, please contact us at [email protected] and we will investigate.

6. Your Right to Cancel

Under the Consumer Contracts (Information, Cancellation and Additional Charges) Regulations 2013, you have the right to cancel your order within 14 days of receiving your goods without giving a reason.

To exercise your right to cancel, you must inform us clearly in writing (by email to [email protected]) within 14 days of receiving your order. You must then return the goods to us within 14 days of notifying us of your cancellation.

Returned items must be in their original condition and suitable for resale. You are responsible for the cost of returning goods unless the goods are faulty or we have made an error with your order.

We will issue a full refund, including your original standard delivery charge, within 7 days of receiving the returned goods. Refunds will be made using the same payment method as your original purchase.

We do not offer exchanges.

7. Faulty or Incorrect Goods

If you receive a faulty, damaged or incorrect item, please contact us within 30 days of receipt at [email protected]. We will arrange a replacement or full refund at no additional cost to you. This does not affect your statutory rights.

8. Availability and Product Descriptions

We make every effort to ensure that products shown on our website are available for purchase. Where a title becomes unavailable after your order is placed, we will notify you promptly and issue a full refund.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, our liability to you in connection with any order shall not exceed the total price paid for the goods in that order. We are not liable for indirect or consequential losses.
Nothing in these terms limits or excludes our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, fraud, or any other liability that cannot be excluded by law.

10. Your Statutory Rights

These terms do not affect your statutory rights as a consumer under UK law, including your rights under the Consumer Rights Act 2015.
