Durante más de doscientos años, el Imperio de Rye prohibió el uso de la magia. Ahora, el imperio ha caído y un nuevo y siniestro poder está surgiendo.

En su camino, Mykal tendrá que enfrentarse a sus miedos y aceptar verdades que no sabía que existían.

Se avecina una guerra, y su tiempo se agota. Y si fracasan, una terrible oscuridad robará la luz del Reino de las Cenizas Grises… para siempre.

For more than two hundred years, the Empire of Rye forbade the use of magic. Now the empire has fallen, and a new and sinister power is rising.

Ambitious and corrupt, the Mountain King will stop at nothing to achieve his goals. By enslaving a sorceress to carry out his orders, he begins his search for lost talismans that could help him bring back the sorcerers and harness their power.

To save the Old Empire from this growing and dark magic, Mykal, a seventeen-year-old farmer, and his friends set out on a desperate journey: they must collect the talismans before the Mountain King does. Along the way, Mykal will have to face his fears and accept truths he never knew existed.

A war is approaching, and time is running out. And if they fail, a terrible darkness will steal the light of the Ashen Kingdom… forever.
